Friends back home couldn't get enough of this. My male friends scoffed, my female friends swooned. Yes, the guy really planned to have me serenaded, on our first date, along the Seine River. I lost my credit card and was two hours late, so instead we met for wine and cheese. We did, however, stroll hand-in-hand along a love lock bridge. It was like a fairytale. Or was it?
Throw in some surprises. Consistency is important when you're dating, but you should also throw in some romantic surprises. The surprises will depend on the personality of the girl - maybe she'd love it if you cooked dinner for her, sent her flowers at work, or planned a fun weekend trip. She'll be impressed by your thoughtfulness if you mix it up sometimes.

The term “Dating” is used explain countless different kinds of relationship. “Dating” suggests various things to totally different individuals. What does dating mean to you? “Dating” can define an intimate relationship of two individual. The relation could also be sexual, however it doesn’t mean dating. As many of you know, my wife Sue and I have been married for more than thirty years. We have a daughter who is 27, and we have two grandsons. We have a daughter who is 25, and is single. This type of dating is the no-strings-attached type of dating. The whole purpose of spending time together is for mutual enjoyment. You enjoy her company and she enjoys your company. You hang out when you want to. If you don’t call her back it’s no big deal. If she doesn’t reply to your text, you don’t get upset. It’s not serious. There are no expectations except to have fun. It’s not exclusive. You’re not trying to scope out the other person to see if they are marriage material. In other words, you’re friends. And friends spend time with each other to have fun.
